Rachel Alexandra

Rachel Alexandra reigns as the queen of horse racing. Not since Sea biscuit has a race horse generated as much buzz as this big bay filly. After trouncing every filly in her age group, Rachel took on the boys in the Preakness, beat them, and then went on to best older males in the Haskell Stakes and the Woodward Stakes. And, she did so in front of record crowds at Monmouth Park Racetrack and Saratoga Race Course where more than 30,000 fans lined up just to catch a glimpse of her. She has even posed for Vogue magazine, and has a line of vintage wines named after her.
