Looking Glass Lightyear The SpaceShip

Looking Glass sculptures are hand crafted using glass rods. They are heated and melted by a gas-powered torch. The torch worker has a high degree of control over how soft the glass becomes, as a result they're able to create pieces with immaculate detail and complexity.

LightYear the SpaceShip was made to soar through outer space and discover new things about our universe. He can move in zero gravity and orbit the Earth. LightYear makes frequent trips to the space station so that scientists can collect data and learn new information about our surroundings. LightYear the Spaceship was built on September 29, 2011.
